To see and listen to Chess Taylor is a performance nobody should miss. Why – she is fantastic. Unlike many other singers, she can sing popular hits one moment and then tackle a demanding aria a few seconds later. I used to work in Entertainment television and Chess is one great singer.

Chess is blessed with a voice that seems to have no trouble dealing with every musical genre, from pop to musical theatre to classical. Everything is delivered with an easy confidence and a winning smile. My particular favourites were "Wishing you were somehow here again" and "Everyime we say goodbye" but the audience enjoyed every number she performed.
Having been on over 20 cruises in the last 10 years or so, I have seen many excellent cabarets performed by many fine singers. But this was definitely one of the very best and fully deserved the standing ovation that the delighted audience gave her!

The cabaret Classical Crossover was the best I have witnessed. A faultless performance of O Mio Babbino Caro had the audience captivated and spellbound. Chess was our singer at our wedding ceremony. She sung 2 songs for us and our guests during the service and she really has the voice of an Angel. Not only did she sound fantastic, she was also extremely communicative, arrived an hour before the service to practice with the pianist who she had never worked with before and put me totally at ease. Chess performed two half hour sets at an Italian Night staged by Royds Masonic Lodge No 816 at Hollingworth Lake, Littleborough. She was fantastic and had her audience of around seventy eating out of her proverbial hand. The choice of music, operatic arias, songs from the shows and standards was pitch perfect, as, indeed, was Chess herself. The feedback I have received over the weekend has universally praised an excellent meal and, most particularly the choice of Chess Taylor as our entertainer...

We had fantastic sunny weather, at a great wedding venue yesterday, and it was topped off by Chess' performance. We will always have memories of a complete and stunning set of songs. From the outset she was positive and friendly. We believed we'd made the right choice even before we met her. Chess responded positively to requests for songs which were new to her and worked the surprise we'd planned for Luke and Hannah, the bride and groom, supremely well. She has a lovely voice and guests continued to compliment her from the moment she started to sing and then throughout the day. We are still hearing those compliments today.
